Perhaps in your most courageous moments, you’ve made the commitment to start.
In fact, you’ve started your weight loss journey many times already.
You’ve tried the whole 'eat less and move more' method to lose weight repeatedly.
You’ve also failed more times than you can imagine. Don't worry. So has 95% of the general population.
And, it’s not like you’re not trying.
In fact, you're trying REALLY hard. You're just not getting a good return on your investment.
Raise your hand if this sounds familiar...
You workout every day. You spend hours on the (insert exercise/cardio machine). You've done 1,000 sit-ups. You never miss a day at the gym. You go to your 6 AM spin class every day. You even hired that really expensive trainer at your gym, but all he did was count your reps.
You bought a FitBit and you get your 10,000 steps every day. It says that you burned X,XXX calories which should result in some pounds dropping. So you step on the scale, and voila! No change. Not even a measly pound.
But you persevere. It has to start working, right? So you keep your calories down. You eat a lot of low fat and low calorie foods. You drink a lot of "zero calorie" drinks. You’re barely eating anything. You’re tired and hungry all the time. You have no energy. You feel all alone in this journey. You feel stuck. Worst of all, you’re not losing weight.
You’ve tried every diet imaginable.
You've gone low fat. You've tracked your macros. You tried going Vegan. You’ve tried those really expensive weight loss shakes. You’ve tried weight loss teas. You’ve tried juice cleanses. You’ve tried fat burners even though it made you feel like your heart was going to explode. You even tried those weight loss straps that promised to “magically” melt your fat away.
You’ll usually do well for a couple of weeks. You’d initially lose some weight but would always put it back on. You feel hopeless. You’re frustrated. You're still stuck. You think it’ll never happen for you.
You ask yourself, “What am I doing wrong?” or “Why isn’t this working for me?”
So you sit at home and just eat your feelings away.
This goes on for weeks, months, if not years. Next thing you know, your clothes don’t fit anymore. You have to go a size up. You start wearing baggy clothes to hide your excess body fat.
But every morning, you have to stare at yourself in the mirror and you hate what you see. You hate how your body looks. You have no confidence and your self esteem is at an all time low.
Your weight loss problem doesn’t even feel like a burden anymore because you’ve just gotten used to it. It feels more like a life sentence. You’re more frustrated than ever and you don’t know what to do.
So again, you go home and eat your feelings away. It’s absolutely crippling.
The problem is, a lot of the common and accepted information about fat loss is extremely outdated and/or just plain wrong.
A lot of so called “experts” make empty promises with whatever product, diet, or supplement they’re selling. They always make it sound so easy.
Here’s why that is irreversibly crippling. They’re all just selling the same old rehashed cookie cutter information about weight loss.
Just eat less, and move more.
It’s like the blind leading the blind.
The problem is, you’re still stuck. Because that's exactly what you've done all this time. You're frustrated. You still don’t know what to do.
The good thing is even if you’ve struggled at losing your unwanted body fat for years, it’s not too late. That is, if you’re willing to go against conventional wisdom. Because, well, it doesn’t work. And if you’re reading this right now, I don’t have to convince you very hard that it doesn’t work. In fact, nothing has worked up to this point.
